* It is based on Android 2.1. The build is currently circulating is identified as version 2.1 1, mirroring the update just pushed to a Nexus last week.
* Goggles Google is now pre-installed (no matter how useless it May BE).
* The browser is now turned multitouch, like Google Maps 3.4. Hooray! No flash, but again, we really did not expect.
* Interestingly, the home screen is always obtained the same appearance as 2.0.1, which means it does not Nexus A rotating 3D grid app icons – It’s still got the pull-up tray tab down.
* No wallpapers active. Deception!
* News and Weather widgets introduced the Nexus One are included. Maybe some capabilities of 2.1 will be limited to devices with minimum performance criteria?
There is no word on timing, and all our sources know, this accumulation could still be derailed testing – God knows that it happened with many pre-production over the Verizon firmware. We’ll keep our ear to the ground and you do the same.
