Nokia 6300 Unlocked Cell Phone with 2 MP Camera, Media Player, Stereo Bluetooth, MicroSD Slot–International Version with No Warranty (Black) Easy to use without sacrificing style, the Nokia 6300 offers great voice communication, plus a number of other useful features. The stylish and compact phone comes loaded with an integrated 2.0-megapixel digital camera and 3GPP video player/recorder, MicroSD card support, Bluetooth, and support for Java applications and games. The Nokia 6300 also features Macromedia Flash Lite 2.0 for interactive user experiences with video, audio, and graphics.

Nicely thin and packed with multimedia features, include a 2-megapixel camera and MP3 player.

This unlocked cell phone can be used with a GSM network service provider and it provides tri-band connectivity (850/1800/1900 MHz). You’ll enjoy high-speed data connectivity via your network’s EDGE network. This high-speed, mobile data and Internet access technology is fast enough to support a wide range of advanced data services (with average data speeds between 75-135Kbps). It does not come with a SIM card, and it requires that you provide a SIM card for usage with your selected service provider.

Phone Features
First and foremost, the 6300 is designed for stylish simplicity. Large, easy-to-press buttons are arranged on a sleek rectangular-shaped case. A large 240 x 320, 16.7 million color display resides above a five-way center button that controls most of the phone’s menus and functions. A 2.5mm headphone jack is provided if you want to use a wired headset for calls or for music playback on the built-in music player. Volume control keys are available on the right side of the phone, while USB connectivity is featured on the phone’s bottom edge. The backside of the phone houses the device’s 2.0-megapixel camera lens. The phone features a microSD slot that accommodates cards up to 2 GB, and lastly, because the 6300 uses an internal antenna, there’s nothing to snag or break off.

The 6300’s built-in address book can store up to 1000 contacts for quick and easy management of phone numbers and addresses. In addition to a vibrate alert, the phone is compatible with MP3 and MIDI ringtones, as well. It even supports video ringtones. Different ringtones can be set for groups of callers so you know who’s calling without having to look at the device. A call log keeps track of your recent dialed calls, as well as your most recent missed or received calls. Plus, there’s a speakerphone so you can talk all you want without having the phone to your ear. Push-to-talk and a voice command feature are also included (push-to-talk usability is carrier dependent).

The 6300 has all the bases covered when it comes to messaging and Internet connectivity. Use the phone’s built-in picture messaging capability to send text, graphics, and pictures to your friends. The phone features support for instant messaging applications, and there’s a built-in WAP 2.0 Web browser (supports HTML, xHTML, TCP/IP) for downloads and mobile Web browsing. The phone also supports Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging (AMS)–a fast and simple way to send voice or sound clips via MMS. T9 text entry, a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit–a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.

A number of handy software tools are bundled with the 6300 including a calculator, a calendar, and an alarm clock. The 6300 also comes with SyncML already built-in–an easy way to sync your phone and PC’s contact list and calendar via USB or Bluetooth. If needed, the 6300 can be used as a wireless modem for laptops and PDAs. Use the supported EDGE high-speed data transfer protocol for high-speed Internet connectivity.

The 6300 also sports an airplane mode feature, which allows the user to safely use the non-wireless functions of a phone (such as music, games, or organizer functions) on an airplane during flight.

Customize the graphics on the 6300’s screen to give your phone a look that suits your tastes. Plus, the 6300 is Java enabled, meaning it supports games written on the Java platform. Document your latest adventure with the phone’s advanced 2.0-megapixel camera that features an 8x digital zoom, or with the camera’s supported video recorder. The built-in advanced music player supports MP3, MP4, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, H.263, and H.264 music files. Lastly, high-quality video can be streamed straight from the device. And because the phone supports the A2DP and AVRCP Bluetooth stereo profiles, you can wireless stream music to compatible Bluetooth-enabled stereo headphones, enabling completely untethered music enjoyment.

Other features include:

  • Voice commands, voice dialing, voice recording
  • FM stereo radio (requires headset, stereo headset may be sold separately)
  • Hearing Aid Compatibilty Rating: M2
  • Synchronize your phone with your compatible PC via Nokia PC Suite (available free at www.nokiausa.com)
  • Bluetooth version 2.0 with the following profiles: A2DP (stereo music streaming), AVRC (remote control), HFP (hands-free car kits), HSP (communication headsets), DUN (dial-up networking), FTP (file transfer), OPP (object push for business cards, calendar items, and pictures)

Customer Review: broken product
I bought this phone as a gift to my sister back home. She specifically requested this version due to the slick sytle of the phone. When I received the phone I ship it out her to our suprice the phone was useless..everytime I called her she cannot hear me in short the phone was broken. I feel I just wasted $ 159.00. This is my first time shopping in this website and I got a horrabble experince. Now I’am having second thought on shopping in this website again.
Customer Review: Not for USA users!
Don’t get me wrong. The Nokia 6300 is a great phone & has many nice features. I brought this phone mainly to replace my old trusty Nokia 6102 phone. The 6120 is also a good phone but it’s a bit bulky for my pant’s pocket. Plus, the stubby antenna sometimes get caught inside my pocket which is quite annoying.

Although the phone is marked as “International version”, it uses tri-band(GSM900/1800/1900) that is designed for Europe/Asia. USA uses the GSM850/1800/1900 bands so only the 1800/1900 band on the phone is being utilized. Because of this, the phone’s reception is crippled in many occasions. I used to get 3 to 4 bars with my old phone at work but now only get 1 or no bar with this one.

A cell phone is useless without a decent reception. After using it for a few days, I regretfully return it back to its box(which has reference to [...]
