BlackBerry Application Suite leaks, ready to corrupt a perfectly good WinMo phone

We thought that RIM ambitious (if not questionable) project to port the most juicy pieces of BlackBerry OS on a virtual machine running on top of Windows Mobile has been long abandoned, and everything we know is the case – but the half-baked leftovers of the company are finally thank you to the provision of good people XDA-developers. BlackBerry Application Suite, as is known, has finally found a decent home in a CAB file that is making the rounds on the forums, and apparently it was bolted together with tape enough to work on an AT & T Fuze. Well, “work” is a relative term – you’ve apparently got to be on a BES server for this to work, you need to generate a valid PIN, and it activates the touch screen requires a double-click but when you’re ready to stop punishing yourself with this madness, the cold comfort of WinMo is a few mouse clicks. If you think you need this, odds are you really need a Storm2, but hey, do not ruin your weekend, trying to get this to work.

Twitter for BlackBerry launches in private beta, we check it out

bold 9700Well aware that 140 characters loving owners BlackBerry does not have the largest selection of Twitter applications, RIM abandoned leaving the task to third party developers and created its own. Released today in a private beta, the APP aims to take advantage of push technology platform and to better integrate Twitter into your message list. Of course, we would do if someone will be able to design a killer app Twitter to Berrys, this must be the pack Waterloo – but she managed to create something that can replace Apps TweetGenius as paid or free feature-packed as those SocialScope or UberTwitter? We are told it will not be available in a public beta for a month or two, but we’ve got your first look after the break.

Include: Holder & Flexible arm with Suction Cup. Hit the road with our new Car Windshield Mount Holder. Customer Review: Works OK….
This holder works ok, but isn’t great. It can be hard to get it to stick (an issue with any suction-cup type device which is why I hesitated to buy it). Once you get it stuck it works fine- holds the phone steady and is sturdy. I’m very short and sit close to my windshield which helps. My husband (quite a bit taller) doesn’t like it much because he is too far away to reach the phone easily. That is partly an issue with the car design also- but if this suction cup would stick better we would have more flexibility with placement. You have to really push hard to snap the two pieces together and it didn’t come with any instructions so I wasn’t completely sure I had the two pieces set up correctly and was hesitant to push too hard. In the end there was no other choice so I pushed- and it worked. Overall, it does the job but that’s about it. I’m not sure why the other poster said it doesn’t fit his phone- mine fits just fine.

Durable Clear Reusable LCD Screen Protector – 3 Packs for Verizon RIM Blackberry 9530 Storm Smartphone

Durable Clear Reusable LCD Screen Protector – 3 Packs for Verizon RIM Blackberry 9530 Storm Smartphone Customer Review: Not the right size for a Storm
This cover does a nice job covering the display on a Storm. You can easily use your Storm with this clear cover. However, it is too wide for the Storm. You must cut it to make it fit.
Customer Review: Pretty good item
This is a pretty product. It fits well and is easy to put on. It can sometimes make it difficult to move the screen.
