WebOS 1.4 hitting Sprint’s Pre and Pixi on February 15th?

webos 1.4
Good news for nonplussed (more ways than one) before and Pixi owners: come the day after Valentine’s Day, it seems that you are able to capture your family in some format images! This is from a Sprint technician suspects allegedly took over screencaps promising an update firmware with all the features we’ve heard her debut as webOS 1.4, except for Flash support on the Meadow. Note the use of “alleged” and “would”, though – we can not independently confirm this picture, so take it with a grain of salt. However, February is the date previously mentioned output, and when better to leave just after the midpoint of the month?

Apple could Block iTunes support for Palm Pre

Palm has tricked iTunes into thinking that the Palm Pre is an iPod so you can sync your Palm Pre with iTunes. Right now the latest iTunes 8.2 still supports the Palm Pre, but Jon Lech Johansen says that Apple can easily block iTunes support for the Palm Pre in their next update. The question remains whether or not Apple will block the Palm Pre from iTunes or not. Do you think Apple will do this? I definitely think they will be doing this in their next update because they’re Palm’s competitor.

Verizon already announced that they plan to offer the Palm Pre on their network but they didn’t mention any specific month that they would be offering it. On CNBC, David Pogue says that Verizon is offering the Palm Pre in December and that’s when he will be getting it. Verizon still has not mentioned any release date and this may just be a rumor. Watch the video below for the details.
